Hi all,

Friday and Saturday, May 16-17 will be the next Peace Bridge Tournament in Buffalo, NY.

Let me know of ideas for the Friday night Can/Am format - should we keep it or not? What type of tourney? The first time was a Max 6. Do we go a Femme Fatale (female characters only) or Max 7? Any Heroes only, or Battlesite only? I put up a poll for 30 days to see what you think. If you have another idea, let me know.

How about a 'You're on your own' theme - No Battlesites, No Anyheroes. Teams must work entirely on their own merit.

I want to see a tournament where characters that don't get much play get used.  Like:

Absorbing man
Aqua man
Azreal
Backlash
Bane
Banshee
Black Widow
Captain Atom
Etc.

Or maybe even a tournament where only characters from specific sets can be used. like say, Image and X-men, the last two sets, only characters from those sets can be used.

I've always thought a DC vs. Image event might be fun.

Players must choose one side or the other - and exclusively use cards from their respective set. , no Marvel allowed.

I've always wanted to build a deck w/ 4 front line characters and no reserve at all. 

Those are some very creative ideas for decks.

As for the question on Ally and TWs being used with Battlesite...yes.

I really like that idea.  I think we'd see a lot of characters that are rarely used.

Dc Vs Image is kinda interesting...DC has more cards to choose from but image had access to home bases and battlesites.

DC vs Image sounds interesting.

DC has more powerful cards, Image has better team cohesion.

I think it would boil down to a DC team dying to teamworks vs an Image team getting blown out by draw 3/4's.

Any Heroes obviously makes DC far better than it does Image.  I could see Image being forced to run battlesites simply so Leech doesn't wreck them.

i think the DC Vs image means that only cards from those sets can be used, so leech or DOW to worry about.

Stickying the topic. The date is set, just need to confirm a location.

Two things.

1. The Friday night get together will be an all DC event only with a twist. The twist is that you can use DC3 cards that are available from the Overpower Legion. You can follow this link: https://www.facebook.com/overpower.us?fref=ts

2. The event will be held at:

Seneca Gospel Mission
462 Elk St.
Buffalo, NY

Times will be finalized later. Start time 5 PM Friday night. End around 10. Start time 9 am and end around 10. Note: there will be breaks for lunch and dinner. I propose ordering in pizza and wings for lunch and tacos for dinner.

I am looking into a close by hotel for a group rate. Unfortunately, this is a graduation weekend in Buffalo so the hotels would not do a group rate.
