Hello, I was wondering if there are any step by step guides out there for printing custom cards.
My main question is there a consensus on the type of card stock used on the various sets of Marvels out there?
Can anyone provide names of card stock that closely match the OverPower cardstock?

Any feedback is much appreciated!

I believe most people use printing services, but beyond that it's largely a matter of aesthetics.

My understanding is that the Marvels are produced with squared corners, a glossy finish, and on what looks like 3-layer card stock.

teesaw and I have discussed custom printing, and he's a fan of linen card stock. I have to agree with him, as I've spent days on end chopping up and splicing card stock from different CCGs. The original OP cards were definitely printed on some kind of 3+ layer woven linen and paper card stock. With curved corners, of course.

But basically you'll be making your own decisions based on what you feel is best.

If you're looking for information of producing foil home customs, you'll have to wait until I finish my first non-prototype productions. Then I'll be posting a thread with a complete step-by-step guide on my process.

Hopefully this was helpful.

Yes that was helpful, thank you for the reply. I saw a step by step guide on another site that recommended linen card stock also. And a curved stamp blade to round the corners. But that wasn't specific to Overpower. If anyone has any recommendations as to what card stock matches the card stock used for the OP expansions I'd love to hear em!

Can you link that guide? I'd love to find a curved stamp blade. I'm cutting by hand now and it is terrible (both difficult and poor quality).
