A question for chuu:
Would "Photoshop For Dummies" be a good investment?  I would love to be able to do (similar to) what you have done.  I have the program.  After years of having programs thrown at me at work and having to figure them out with no training, I thought I could handle it in my retirement.  But I have gotten nowhere in learning how to use Photoshop properly, even with the tutorials.  I'd hate to waste more money if its not worth it.  Maybe I'm justa too dumb, but I'm hoping not.

Here is Carol Danvers, I started working on a Ms. Marvel and found that she has a very rich history with at least four different identities that I didn't think it fair if I didn't try to emulate at least 2.  I went through the 50 Issues of Volume 2 and gathered other data to create these cards.  I would have liked to have one with her energy absorption power but I couldn't find a good enough image that met my standards..ya, those card names aren't coincidence..lol

I'm going to be doing 5 specials for Voodoo and 7 Specials for Spartan.  Which Voodoo hero card do you guys like better?

I guess I'll justa have to be different.  While I like the first picture, it seems more appropriate for a Special card.  The second picture focuses on her alone, so I prefer that ine as a character card.  Either way you go, its still excellent!

You are right, my initial impression was to use it as a special but because it's such a wide angle shot I couldn't without cutting out a lot of the image. I prefer it as well for the hero card.

I cant wait to get my hands on these cards!

Hi Everyone,

Here is "almost" the entire set that I've done. I'll be adding 2 Aspects and two more specials when i get home tonight.  The set has 137 cards and a print set will be 232 cards so that people have enough cards for deck building.  I've got orders already but if you haven't PM'd and you want one please let me know ASAP.  There will only be one printing of this set.

I've tried to keep the balance of the set as much as I can, I used all the Overpower card making rules that I've learned over the years so i'm hoping that my set meshes well with legacy Overpower.  The big difference between my set and the legacy sets is that I gave my characters all good cards and didn't give them any cards that would never get used...well, maybe a couple..lol.
