Palatinus' OverPower Forum

OP Cup is back for 2016. Same wonderful venue as previous years: Heroes and Games, located in the Greater Columbus Convention Center in Columbus, OH.

Friday August 12 and Saturday August 13 2016.

More details to be posted.

Friday Night ($5 entry)
Max 6 Tournament (all grid stats cannot be 7 or 8)
35 minute rounds, play until there is only 1 undefeated player
Winner gets automatic entry into main tournament.

Main Tournament, Saturday 10AM ($25 entry)
40 minute rounds, 7 rounds of swiss
Top 8 make it to single elimination round.

As a reminder, we have new rules in place: DoW may be attacked by up to 4 activators per turn; and Team OverPower/OverPower Toronto may place 1 Activator (in addition to placing 1 Any Hero/Character and 1 Any Homebase Aspect).

Prizes

1st place- $150.00 usd
2nd place-$100.00 usd
3rd place- Comm. Gordon holo
4th place- Ghost Rider promo from 2015 OP CUP
5th place- Power Leech
6th place- Cable IQ Hero

If the 4th place finisher wants to trade the ghost rider promo, hit me up. 

I wouldn't mind reuniting it with the starjammers promo, given the chance.

I don't understand, so there was no tournament?

If a tournament happened in the woods and nobody attended, does it still bet 7?

Why is it so hush hush? how will this encourage people to want to play tournaments if there's no talk of them?

I don't want to do any OP work the week after the tournament. Rather stressful situation I was in this week and wanted to get away.
