i'm not really down for removing people once they've expressed interest.  yeah, he's a jackass, but whatever

i've been thinking alot, and this is the format i've come up with

oscorp
nate grey
big bad harv
kyle
demacus
ncannelora
dr. death

the format will be round robin, where everyone plays everyone else once.  you can begin now, and the deadline is next wednesday night (that is, thursday 12:00 am EDT).  post your results in this topic.  i'd suggest leaving out any team details until every player has posted at least one match, so there's no team tailoring.  you can post anything you want regarding your own team, but keep the discussion regarding opponents' to a minimum until rosters are finalized.

any matches that are not completed by the deadline will result in a double loss. 

the exception to this is: demacus/dr.death/ncannelora. the other 5 of us are in an MSN circle, where we play each other often.  if you want to get an MSN account, any one of us can give you the contact info for the other 4.  if you choose not to sign up for MSN, the onus is on YOU to arrange matches.  any match not taking place between one of you 3, and the other 5, will result in a loss for the '3', and nothing for the '5'.  any match not taking place between '3's, will result in a double loss.  the deadline for reporting connection issues is tomorrow night (thursday 12am edt).  if there's connection issues after that, again, loss for '3', no contest for '5'.

at the end of the round robin, the top 4 will advance to next round, where 1 seed plays 4, and 2 seed plays 3.  tie breakers are as follows

1) #wins.  most wins equals highest seed
2) least losses
3) if there's still a tie after these 2, the players will play a match to determine higher seed.

the 2 winners will play in the finals

Awesome!  Even though dr.death was being a pussy by not wanting to play BBH, it looks like he will anyway.  Bravo!

it's been pointed out that a few people might have different interepretations of the official rules

for this tourney, anext can only be placed to team overpower

acrobatics CAN stop/prevent the follow up to an ally.

if there are any other discrepancies you can think of between regions, please address them before the games start. 

any that come up during a game, will be voted on by the non playing participants.

Im scared to meet you in real life? lol. I've invited you many times to come play me in person, you only live a few hours away from me, ncann.  As for everyone else, they can come see me in San Diego next week at the comic-con, and see if i talk just as much trash in person as i do on the internet. And bring your mom, please, I will need good competition.

Your psyche advantage is in your head. Also, I never said you were scared to meet me in real life. And, inviting me to drive 4 hours, spending upwards of $100, on a trip to meet some one with so much distaste, is hardly aluring.

How about we play tonight then, ncann? Confidence is never a disadvantage.

I won't alter my plans tonight to satisfy you. Also, confidence is a disadvantage if it's unfounded, so I wouldn't say "never"

Thanks, I saw that. My main point is that I was already planning on not playing until tomorrow night

Isn't there some way to find a file in the "resume" folder to be able to post full game logs? That would be cool if anyone has a particularly exciting match.

I've got the programs working.  Who's my first opponent?

Just wondering if you use MSN or Hamatchi, Demascus.  Also what times are you usually on.  I am usually around from 6 to 10 eastern time, but will stay up to get matches in with west coasters.

I downloaded Hamatchi, but have yet to try connecting. I'm usually home between 7:30 and 11 p.m. Eastern, though my guild takes up some of that time, for instance tomorrow night would not be a good OP night for me.
