New location concept that I've been working on...

The Astral Plane

The Astral Plane team's Energy and Intellect actions are +1.  All players Fighting and Strength actions are -1.

The roster itself is kinda getting me...  I've got 4 solid who I feel belong at this locale, and at least 4 others who COULD be here, but for the sake of balance, I'm not sure who SHOULD be here.

Deserve to be here                                                    Looking to make the cut
          Professor X                                                                                 Cable
         Shadow King                                                                             Jean Grey
           Psylocke                                                                                   Phoenix
         White Queen                                                                                X-Man

Thoughts?

My vote would be for Jean & Nate Grey.  Seems to work better with the IA to me.

Nate Grey

Great idea for an Astral Plane location. My vote would also be for Jean & Nate Grey.  ;)

Other characters to consider for The Astral Plane are Onslaught and Dr. Strange since both characters have traversed through it in the comics.

I'd considered Onslaught, but wasn't sure if he actually HAD existed there or not...  I'm still not 100% convinced that he's more then Prof X's pent up frustrations/powers mixed with Magneto's and given it's own single-minded sentience.  Dr. Strange did come up as well.  The only thing I'd decided for sure was that X-man and Phoenix should not be on the same location, mostly due to Manifest Phoenix and Ultimate Potential.  I could see Nate and his mother joining the rest pretty easily.  Thanks for the input!

Side note... Variant - Wolverine: Bone Claws 1-8-3-5 Wolverine may play "Heal" defensively.
To represent that period when Wolvie's own body was no longer fighting with his own skeleton, which peaked his healing factor to almost unkillable levels.

New Location -Ancient Egypt - Mr. Fantastic, Invisible Woman, Human Torch, Thing, Kang, Apocalypse.  Ancient Egypt team cannot be KO'd with Power Cards that contain an icon in which the character has a 7 or better.  (However that would be worded...)
Aspect: Survival of the Fittest [OPD]- The Ancient Egypt team is unaffected by the "Dead is dead" rule.

Ancient Egypt - "For every Value of 7 or more on Character's Power Grid, that Character
may not be KO'd by Power cards containing icons of that Power Type."
"i was thinking again about the balance/realism issue... and despite the grids, i DO really like this game"
