What is the correct wording of Nightcrawler's FP special? I've been looking at printing up some marvels cards and I've seen three different wording for the last line.

The card stays:

Acts as a level 6 Intellect attack. If successful, Opponent must discard 1 Tactic Card.

Card may be Placed or in play. (OPO / Rip your head off)

Card may be Placed or in Hand. (Jack's)

Card may be Placed, in Hand, or in play. (Just a big kid)

:o

ncannelora -"I don't care if you're Captain - freakin' - America, you ALWAYS avoid a Standoff with Wolverine!!!"

a_noble_kaz - "If Mr Fantastic had an AO, he would be the god of Overpower."

Jack

Ripayaheadoff should be the correct version I believe. That's NickW's listing.

The image that I have was made by someone and I haven't had time to verify the text. (That's what happens when you outsource work!)

So hard to find good help these days.  ;)

Well let me know whenever you change the text because I'm using your marvels, with changes to some of the specials' pictures, as my standard cards for that group.

I'll see what I can do, I'm sure I'm using an old set of pictures so there might be an update.

Ripayuheadoff's wording is the "official" version. We changed it a little because we thought the secondary effect needed to be beefed up a little bit. Looking back our change didn't really beef the card up that much. But it's still a level 6 off-ability attack, so it's a good card IMO.

I'm just glade to hear from you. Your site helped inspired me to get back into the game when I got the 'itch' and started fishing around online for OP related stuff a while back.  8)

We use allot of your specials around here.  We sort of see the game as a multiverse.

OP Basic: All 'real' cards and no Marvels.

OP 2.0: Uses Marvels

OP Unlimited: Marvels, level 0 power cards, homemades from around the net, Cost-Capping, and 65 card min deck.  8)

Thank you! That's probably the best compliment I've ever had on the site and the Homemade Cards. VERY MUCH appreciated.

Seems like a logical way to break things down to me.
