Anybody that needs to fill in for sets might find this useful so I thought I'd post it.

Thanks for listing that. Make me remember to check eBay from time to time for those last cards I still need to complete my set. I only have the rare and pricey ones left and its proving so difficult to get them. 

I know what you mean -when the only options are a couple guys selling at whatever price they regulate I figured if someone is going to post a big lot everybody might want to at least know about it. If anybody needs a chunk of those cards then it would probably be a big savings - unles you could get bornagain to make the exact same lot and save 10%  LOL.

There was a big lot of X-men and Image cards on eBay a few months ago that would have really taken a bite out of my remaining cards but I hesitated and someone else snatched it up. Still regretting that one.

No problem Nate. If you're friend decides to pass on an eBay auction but does want cards, I am in the process of taking all of the cards that I dont need/want and throwing them in one large lot - I could just give you a list and give him a good price. LMK.  Thanks

Thanks for that offer. I'll run it by him but also don't wait on me or anything. He's flip-flopped quite a bit on that. At times he gets excited and wants his own cards, but then another friend tells him its such a difficult endeavor to try and do that since there are so many cards and that you need duplicates of so many just to have a playable set.  When we hook up to play, its me who keeps the cards and has devoted the time and money to have enough cards to have multiple decks.

I completely know the feeling! That is currently what I am in processes of doing. I have my deck built but I am building decks for a couple other people based on what they like (completely not my style). It gets to be a bit tiring trying to collect everything even if you know that YOU personally will not play it, but I hope it ends up being worth it (i.e. they actually want to play more than 1 game) - Good luck with your friend and the collecting.

So I'm not the only one! Haha! Fortunately, my friends really enjoy the game and are always planning get-togethers so it does make my efforts worth it. That's awesome! As of right now I have 1 - complete any hero deck and a second is in progress.  As for collecting I'm not going for all of the cards (I know to some of the hardcore OP guys that is blasphemy) I'm pretty much going for 1)who'd I'd like to play 2) who my friends I'm collecting for would like to play and 3)charcters that I like from comics or just enjoy the art even if I know I will never play then

Yeah - most of what I want comes from the Marvel set as well! I did pick and choose a few Image characters for myself and several DC for a friend of mine that I'm convincing to play - he loves DC especially the villians.

Is there anything you're still looking for for your Image sets?

The only Image ones I'd like to get are some really rare ones:

The Darkness - Demigod of the Dark (OPD)
Witchblade - The Chosen (OPD)
Spawn - Protector of the Innocent

Artifact - Myrlu Symbiote
Artifact - Witchblade

I've got a friend who likes DC but if he ever wants to use those characters then he could purchase those himself. LOL We're pretty much happy just using the Marvel ones though.
