Strange in reserve (with 2-3 marvels ad) and av to place
Or
Angel in reserve with marvels draw 4 to place

Top defensive battlesite for this team would be the outback. Ao, do, bj or dazzler 6e(opd), aa, ac, ad, ag, ar, 4bi (dazzler)

Yeah, I'd go with The Outback too, I think. I'd put Angel in Reserve and keep Dr.S up front with his 8E and 6I for teamwork options (plus he has some nice strings of his own available). Dr.S and Nightcrawler both give you decent coverage with their ADs, but only Iceman will be able to protect them from higher end stuff (with his AD), but that also makes him a target... I'd go like this for your Battlesite:

Dazzler AD NJ
Jubilee DB AC
Longshot DO AC
Reavers AO BJ
Sentinels GA EE
Wolverine AG OB

That's a bit high risk/high reward. If you dup' one of them, you're out an AR at least, if not an AO or a BJ. If you want to triplicate them, I'd use their AA. if you want to add an AR, I'd go with Sentinels' (for their GA, maybe)

I like this team tussin.  it's a toss up for who you put in reserve between strange and angel.  i'd probably go with strange in back (since his best special is playable from there {if you use marvels}), and lose the ability to use an 8 up front

what was the reason behind pairing strange with the x-men?  is it just 4 characters you like?

Tussin

just my 4 favorite, i do really like silver surfer too, but his point value is too high, might be easier to make the deck with 3 stat value and use surfer instead of angel since he has no 3 stat?

sorry i was away for 2 weeks, just got back hence lack of replies :)

i think i would prefer Archangel in reserve due to lack of specials, even when i acquire more from him.

but then again for Dr.Strange maybe i only want to use AD/DA/HG maybe DG/CY

BasiliskFang

I think you're reading the plaza ability wrong. You get a bonus when you defend, it doesn't stack.

About stark, dead Is dead rule still applies.

The inherit abilities of a battlesite do not apply at all.
To use the location's ability, it must be used as a homebase (4 of the characters listed must be on your team).

Tussin

ok my bad. it would have made a few homebases so much more dangerous.

so pretty much each location is mostly used for it's special card if any, and specials from characters listed.
