Onslaught: There is one way to add Dark Beast as an Activator, it involves editing the deck file. Open the file with notepad

Find,

CARD=Activator
CARDID=23

Modify to,

CARD=Activator
CARDID=73

This will change the Activator image, it will still say 'Activator: Beast' in the deck builder, but does not affect the Activator function on OPOnline.

Whoa, cool find. Thanks!

The program is working well for me, unfortunately my friend is having trouble with it. When he opens the OverPowerOnline folder all he gets is gibberish. He uses a Mac so is that the problem?

Jack

Yes, OPOnline doesn't work on a Mac.

Bummer! Too bad for him.  :(

Thanks for letting me know, Jack.

zippa_head

I noticed I haven't listed my info in this thread.
I play OpOnline quite a bit...
Plenty of ways to contact me, skype, msn, fb, aim...

msn is easiest - zippa_head@hotmail.com

Good luck all

rucker73

I'm always looking for new opponents on OPonline as well.  Feel free to add me at rucker_73@hotmail.com

Please mention why you are adding me when sending the request.

Thanks

I finally downloaded OP Online and when I try to run the deck editor it just sits there saying loading and never actually loads.

Extract the contents from the System32 Package.exe into the folder, double clicking it should suffice.

For Windows XP, it should work fine in Admin mode, not sure about regular user mode.

For Windows Vista/7, you can either run the program as administrator (not really recommended) or choose the compatibility settings (file properties, compatibility) and make it as Windows XP SP3.

I'm sure there was a thread on this...

Palatinus

I did it and it worked.  Sorry if there is already a post on this.  I just went to this one because of its name.

The above is finally what made it work for me. I use Windows XP.

Looks like most people use MSN to find people to play OPonline with. I don't have that so its only Facebook and coming in here that lets people know I'm available to play some games. Maybe I'll make a hotmail account and get MSN.

Nate Grey

Finally created a hotmail account. My address is Nate_Grey_@hotmail.com

Not familiar with hotmail or MSN so hopefully I'll get the hang of it soon. Feel free to contact me though if you want someone to clobber in Overpower.  :D

This past weekend I put together a home theatre PC, which normally wouldn't matter to any of you, but it means that I've got a Windows machine in the house now.

As soon as I get it all hooked up, I should be good to go for OP Online. I'm looking forward to playing some games (and likely being destroyed).

That's good to hear! We seem to be at about the same level of playing so it should be fun if we could get some games in.  :)

I had the same thought. I'm interested in playing everyone else too, but I think the two of us are a good match to learn the 'modern' rules together.
