Onslaught

This is what teamworks looked like during the prototype stage I guess. Fun fact: teamworks originally did not require a followup attack, making them crazily abusive until the first errata. Note that this art ended up being used as Spider-Man's hero card.

I don't know if this was just a placeholder, or if they actually intended to use the same borders as the original set. Good thing they changed, because I like the basketball looking border Powersurge cards have. Also, apparently Blob had a 9s at one point during development.

Some of the original art for DC3. Fun fact: DC3's art was all commissioned at the same time as JLA. This is why you can get a pretty good estimate of what the checklist for DC3 would have looked like - they only had a finite amount of art to use for it! Unfortunately, the added cost of DC3's art was counted as part of JLA's production costs, making it look like a financial flop.

This is what one of the old meta-rules special guides looked like.

Some assorted original art for various cards.

I wanted to buy some of these off of eBay, just priced too much for a student. :(

The detail on that Two-Face drawing is impressive, the Dark Beast is also really nice.

Wow! Awesome stuff! Thanks for sharing. I do recall being perplexed about that Blob 9 strength special back then.

Lovin' the original art. Since I've gotten back into the game I can never seem to find any good pieces posted up for sale....maybe soon  ;)
Beta Ray Bill makes a WHOLE lot more sense at Avengers Mansion than Beyonder showing up and helping out during a fight. - breadmaster
