I WAS taking a break, but this one kind of sang out to me... "do me, do me, do..."

I've not seen too many homemade Mission & Event cards around:  Kingdom Come (with 11 events!), 20 Years of OverPower & Death of Superman (both with the usual 6 events), House of M & Salvation Run (1 event each), and Hush (with NO events!?! – what was the point?).  Anyways, I decided to try it for the first time myself, justa to do something different.  Thanos' Quest, or how Thanos obtained the Infinity Gems in the first place, seemed ready-made for this format.

The art work is a little grainy due to the low resolution of the .cbr files I used.  I tried to gear the Events towards the effect of the Gem obtained by Thanos in each encounter on both opponents, rather than reflect storyline action, which may bother some critics.  The Event mechanics are somewhat different from legacy Events, again justa to be different.  The term "this battle" is not included in any of the texts.  Event cards affect the current battle only (unless something says different), so I considered it to be wasted text.  Less text also allows me to use a larger font size, which improves readability (at least to me, anyways).

These are totally awesome!

E5 seems really strong, have you tried it out? If I'm understanding it right, you can be pitching out specials as if they were Any Character specials. Seems awesome, possibly too awesome.

Overall, I really like what you did with Thanos Quest (and not just because I'm a huge Jim Starlin fan).

I think you read it right.  Specials, Power cards, Teamworks, ... the whole lot!  No play-test data, but I figured if if affects both players equally, it can't be "too" strong.  It can really bite the big one when Reality becomes fluid.

The story justa seemed ready-made for the events.  I'm still not sure I like my Event template - it's a little blocky and no-frills like "Daily Bugle" or "JLA Files".  But I thought it good enough on my first try at Events to put it out so that people could see the ideas.

Thanks for the feedback, Doc.
