I'm looking for some ideas. If you want to represent a partnership in Overpower (bonuses for having two characters on the same team) how would you do it? Some of the Bat characters have specials that let them play two specials belonging to another character but they are pretty lame. There is Dazzler's Longshot Love (Dazzler may Place and play any Longshot Special cards for remainder of game. - HI) and I've used that for a few different cards. In fact, I'm tired of using that. What else could you do?

Something that lets you defend a specific character with power cards (or any thing) for the remainder of game? The ability to play follow up attacks from their special (like an AA).? Both of these? Or something else that i'm not thinking of?  And how would you word it?

I ask with Blue Beetle and Booster Gold in mind specifically. Or should i just stick with the HI Special?

I had an inherent ability on an early draft of Red Hulk that was:

QuoteIf "Thunderbolts" is a teammate, this counts as 17-points for Tournament Deckbuilding

I ultimately scrapped it not because I felt that it was broken or anything, but more because I didn't have space for Thunderbolts in the rotation that I was building.

yeah, outside of Specials, IAs on characters or Homebases (or Aspects for Homebases) are probably the only written methods to deliver the effect.  they all have both good and bad facets to their use.  you could always use house rules, but that doesn't make it "official".

Oh wow! That's an awesome way to encourage themed teams that might not be normally put together because of grids. And without necessitating a homebase. I'm not sure it's going to work for Booster and Blue Beetle, maybe though............
Thanks!
