Some of those pictures are better than the ones they actually used!  I really love the artwork for Overpower though.  Especially in the sets after the original set.  It's always been a beautiful card game and most if not all of the card face is devoted to the art which is really different from a lot of other games where you get less than half the card for the artwork.  I do think the small amount of space they gave themselves to put text on the cards did contribute to streamlining the game and make the game play simple and fast paced.
