A New Challenger Has Arrived!

I changed my mind. Instead of Sean(Harvey Dent), I want to play Ncant(winagame)lora in the first round. And i'm not just asking for the most inexperienced player of the tournament to face me in the first round,  for an easy win. I just think BBH might have a better chance to make it into round 2 where i can destroy him there. After that, Ill take breadmasterthe in the Finals. We can start the game in the powerpack, my 3 8-stats vs your 1 max 6 guy and see if they game really was over or not.

Let the games begin, boys. and girls hopefully....(I would love to play with Ncant's wife again, i've noticed the more experienced female player's seek bigger and better people to play with).

Oscorp I've noticed a trend in your posting, you only seem to really comment on other people's posts. Maybe the forum needs a "Like" and "Dislike" button so we can clear out this kind of clutter? No offense but all of your posts are basically whether or not you appreciate what someone else said. I'd love to see a deck posting from you, I think you have great potential. Which one were you in the Toronto vids again? Doctor Dead's attitude on the forums is nothing new, don't let it get to you. Just beat him in the tournament (if you get paired up with him).

I think Rogue: Brotherhood of Evil Mutants is the best character in the game, so it's likely that a deck featuring her wins the tournament.

Vyking Pyre is really powerful in a MARVELS meta, anyone playing that has a good CHANCE.

Ask and you shall receive!!!    I was Matt P in the Toronto meetup.  I played a deathlok deck that did poorly but that is close to my heart.

So here's my latest deck that I've been running with some success.

Maverick, Team X, Dazzler with 3 Stat Sabretooth in reserve.

I don't remember the card by card breakdown at the moment.

I play it with two Legacy Regressions, using the Fatal Attractions mission set with the no specials and no energy icons to attack events.  I also use any heroes with this deck as opposed to a battlesite.  I use only Dazzlers OPD's and one copy of Woverine's Tracking Senses, and his AA and I double up on most of the Maverick and Sabretooth non OPD's that are useful.

The idea is strictly to win by venture, venture low and get out when the cards don't hit and venture huge when the events, or specials come your way.

With Absorb Sound, Power Leetch, DoW and the two events I find that there are many opportunities to venture as many as 4 or 5 missions in a round and the team is relatively unaffected by the KO event or DoW.

Hope that satisfies your craving Overtime.  But before you criticize my posting choices you should have a look at your history and find that you have mainly only done the same.  I have not seen many contributions from you regarding game strategy or deck ideas, but I assumed that you were just like me in the fact that you prefer to read and react to others ideas and not have to worry about having your thoughts on the game picked over and trivialized.

If this little online tourney does happen I would love to beat Dr.D, just as much as I would love to take down reigning champ Big Bad Harve.   I play for fun...  but winning is more fun than losing!

Interested on your reason to opt out a negate character. I'm a big fan of any heroes but hate playing with Bastion as my only negate. If you are really digging Team X http://www.beenhereandthere.com/SMF/index.php?topic=220.0 is a good read if you need some inspiration.
