Hey Guys. This is one of my first completed sets of customs - the files are too large to put on all at once so if anyone likes them I will add somemore of their specials later. I know a lot of people won't know who the Battle Chasers are and that's cool, if nobody likes them I'm still happy with them  8)

Not to nit-pick, but didn't the gauntlets give Gully incredible strength?  Why would it be an energy attack?

I understand the strength that she received and I tried to denote that in the team stats, and I felt if I went with another strength special (I have one for Garrision as well) I would be getting repetitve. So I set it up on the basis of the gloves being 'magical' as Knolan had described to Gully.

What kind of special did you give Garrison?  Gully with the gloves is easily stronger then Garrison.  Maybe his should have a Fighting Icon on it?

I actually listed Garrison as a "10 Strength, and Battle Chasers may not be defended with Special Cards for remainder of battle." I do agree it could easily be a fighting - - anyway, I went with this style to use the first half (the attack) as Garrison when he becomes the Garrison of old instead of the lazy drunk and the may not be defended with Specials represents how he almost appeared as a 'one hitter' for the team. He could have this big burst of strength then nothing...that's what I was noting with his card.

Why not put Gully and Garrison on par with other specials that do similar things? Gully a straight 9 or 10 and Garrison a 12 like Thor's that has a similar effect?

I tried to underplay the power of the specials because of the 2 - 7Stats that I gave them. I based the Garrison 10 entirely on the Thor special and I debated for a long time about making it a 12 - I eventually talked myself out of it saying it helped to make them too strong of a team to play. However, if I decide to go for 100% continuity with things I may change it - for the most part they are just for my enjoyment.

lol  IMO all the more reason not to nerf them.  ;-)

Eventually I will make individual characters of a few of them - possibly in the Black King/Hellfire Club way (play BC specials) but I have thoughts of creating another set i.e. just Gully or Garrison and play entirely off of their own strengths and weaknesses....

Yes, but when you make a 20+ point character, a reason to use them is usually a good thing. Not attacking your decisions, just noting that character's like Malebolgia almost never see play. Good stats + crap specials = Ignored.

Yeah...thats true....way to crap on my thoughts...lol.

For continuity though, just so you know  :) the team does have a nice avoid too.....I wnet on the concept that he literally gets in front of Gully in the beginning every time something happens....
