A must have on everyone's X-Mas wish list!

I contacted the seller of this auciton:  http://www.ebay.com/itm/OVERPOWER-DC-Marvel-IQ-Monumental-CARDS-INVENTORY-LOT-Booster-Packs-SEE-PICS-/150950501614?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item232559dcee

to try and find out what was in the auction.  I couldn't get a straight answer on any of my questions, but I thought I'd post what I did get in reply here in case anyone was looking at this auction and wondering.

In response to the question of how many booster packs are included I received:

"The booster packs pictured were scanned & put in the box to be shipped to the winner."

After a followup question that was basically the same question I received:

"I believe it's more than 5 packs total. All booster packs shown in listing are packed to ship to winner. See pics & count. "

Each time I asked about the booster packs I also asked how many loose cards were included.  In my last message I only asked about how many cards were in the auction.  I received the response:

"Over 100, Under 1000"

I honestly cannot tell if the seller is being purposefully cryptic, doesn't actually know what's in the auction, doesn't speak English as a first language, or what.  In any event, my guess is that the auction really isn't worth very much.

It must be that fresh-out-of-pack smell that makes this item $49.99:

I'd be interested to one day see some of the harder cards to get, graded.

Ex:  Spiderman IQ, DoW, Power Leech, etc.

There may be a market for collectors that wish to have a Gem Mint Beyonder.  Given that it's virtually impossible to find one w/o a ding of some sort.

Going to definitely know when my opponent draws this card! I read somewhere that this card is the only one graded GEM mint 10! Actually I think it also said that it is the only one graded period. Does this mean if we sell cards we have to list them as NON-graded? :o

Its virtually impossible to find a Beyonder.  The end.

There was a Beyonder card on ebay about a week or 2 ago.

I tend to run across one every now and then on eBay. My friend surprised us by buying one so our group finally has a Beyonder.  :D

How much does beyonder go for?

About five + years ago $40 was the long standing average for a Beyonder.

Since about March or so of this year I’ve seen them sell between roughly $45 and $60.

They've definitely gone down in price then. Before then, I'd always see them going and selling for $90.

I looked one up on ebay and it was running 89 and some change.  I guess its worth it if you plan to play him. So he's 28 points?  How does he fit into a deck to justify the cost?  Wouldn't you need 3 16-point characters to play him?

And he can be used as an activator for any battlesite special, right?
