Streaming down or is tourney over?

THE STTREAM DIED DURING MARCEL VS PLATINUS SEMI FINAL MATCHUP! ARGH

Not sure what happened during the live stream, obviously I couldn't really pay attention to the stream except to look at the network connection.

The winner of the tournament was BlueFire, aka Phil Keffer. Full details will be posted later on Sunday afternoon.

Thank you to all the people who showed up to the event, it was amazing to meet the people behind the aliases on this forum.

Hell yea, Go Phil! Good to see the old school smack you newbs down! And Marcel 2nd? Shows you the vets know their stuff.... Maybe cuz they dont sit around arguing for 11 pages about the ruling on a longshot card they will never use, and talk actual game strategy instead.

Go old school! (even if its canada old-school and not west side old-school)

Just to clarify, that 8-0 old school smack down was brought to u by the east side of the great US of A.

A big thanks goes out to Jack, Larry, Sean, Mike and anyone else who helped organize and run this past weekends event.  It was great to finally meet everyone.  I look forward to more opportunities to sit across the table from all you fine gentlemen and ladies.

Phil Keffer went? That's completely unexpected. Who is next, Doug Simms? A Marcel vs. Phil final in 2013 is awesome, I look forward to seeing the upload of that one. Props to Jack on running the stream even with technical limitations, when it was actually running it looked great. The full tournament breakdown should be an interesting read, sounds like everyone had a good time.

I need to figure out a way to feasibly cross the streams between the East/West coast players, it could easily be a ~40 person tournament with a very high level of competition. Maybe a travel destination area like Vegas?

somehow i managed to drag my deck to the 4th place prize, which was a box of original boosters.  i'll probably be opening them later today, so if anyone needs any specials or characters for activators, and is willing to pay the shipping, i'll send them out if i come accross them

Doug Simms wanted to come to Buffalo for the event but was busy for that particular weekend.

Home... safe... sound... and happy.  I had a blast at my first REAL OverPower tournament.  You guys were amazing.
