I just booked my room for the Tourney. i will be at Woodbine Hotel, about 15 minutes away, from Thursday night 'til Sunday morning. See you soon!

***********MAJOR ANNOUNCEMENT************

The venue has been moved.  I repeat the location has moved.  Due to circumstances, the tournament has been moved from my condo, to dueling grounds in Toronto. This isn't far from my location.

I am extremely apologetic, however these were circumstances that were out of our control.

So:

OCTOBER 18th 2014

DUELING GROUNDS
1193 Bloor St W, Toronto, ON M6H 1N4

Tournament has been pushed to 10am registration (just to assist in the venue change)

There are plenty of food options around.  Parking is a little more limited,I will look into it.
You may still park at my condo and transport yourself from there (25 minutes to venue from my house -via walking and subway)
This is always an option.

Most Toronto players should know the venue.  I am personally sending notes to all who confirmed.

There was going to be a friday night meet up, is that still happening? it's too bad about not being able to use the condo party room, i heard it's "swanky"

Alas, no Friday event - BUT - there will be a post-tournament party at my place on the Saturday. I'll have two card tables set up for grudge matches as well as just general schmoozing and fun for people who are Overpowered out.

EDIT: So, Marcel texted me to say that there might be a Friday casual after all. Dinner, Drinks, a few games at Duelling Grounds until they close at 10:00pm

Friday night announcement.

On Friday night, whoever is in town is invited to have some casual games at dueling around 6 ish.  Then we will go out for dinner after. 

Just casual games no structure.  Bring your tourney deck or something fun.

We are over 20 and heading towards 30.  It's days away.

Decks are being shuffled and then torn apart, right up to the last minute.

Can you post up an updated tournament schedule?  Looks like dueling grounds is open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday for the tournament. Looks like a tight schedule with 30 people

Just got settled in at the Woobine Hotel. Much nicer than the Knights in we stayed at in Ohio!! My wife and Daughter are with me. We may go to the Zoo  tomorrow. I am planning on being at the Duelling grounds tomorrow evening. Looking forward to seeing Friends and making some new ones.

cool, i actually live like 5 minutes away if you're talking about the one near the woodbine race track.  The zoo is like 30 minutes east on highway 401, should be a very nice day tomorrow to go to the zoo.

I can give you a paper print out. Which is legal in this tourney.  The orange king sells color photo prints but I don't know if he's bringing his 'store'
